Code of Conduct

Haggertys & Co has adopted a strict Code of Conduct to guarantee our distinct quality as Guardians and Defenders of the brands we serve:

  1. Be Honest: Don’t deceive, cheat, or steal. Be reliable. Do what you say you’ll do. Have the courage to do the right thing. Build a good reputation. Be loyal. Stand by your family, friends, community, and country.

  2. Be Respectful: Treat others with respect; follow the Golden Rule. Be tolerant of differences. Use good manners and language. Be considerate of the feelings of others. Don’t threaten, hit, or hurt anyone. Deal peacefully with anger, insults, and disagreements. 

  3. Be Responsible: Do what you are supposed to do. Be prepared and on time. Make your deadlines. Persevere: Keep on trying! Always do your best. Use self-control. Be self-disciplined. Think before you act, and consider the consequences. Be accountable for your choices.

  4. Be Fair: Play by the rules. Take turns and share. When you arrive at a line, go to the end of the line and wait for your turn. Be open-minded; listen to others. Don’t take advantage of others. Don’t blame others carelessly. 

  5. Be Caring: Be kind. Be compassionate and show you care. Express gratitude. Forgive others. Help people in need. 

  6. Be Generous: Do your share to make Haggertys & Co and your community better. Cooperate. Get involved in community affairs. Stay informed; vote. Be a good neighbor. Obey laws and rules. Respect authority. Protect the environment.

And above all, everywhere and always be the champion of the Right and the Good against Injustice and Evil.

These have served as the code of conduct for knights, and they live through you and your work so long as you maintain your honour.
